Chase McKinney - Clearfork Academy

Chase McKinney

Primary Counselor, LPC

Chase was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. He previously lived in Grand Blanc, MI for ten years, and attended the University of Michigan in Flint, MI where he received an undergraduate degree in Political Science. Chase’s training in Political Science gave him a global perspective regarding the power of words that shape ideas and actions, as well as working through processes. He received his Masters in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and is currently a Ph.D. student at Regent University in their Counselor Education and Supervision program. Chase has worked in a variety of settings which include non-profits and private practice. In these settings, he has had extensive history working with adolescents and helping them work through a variety of challenges, both mentally and personally. He believes that every child is one caring adult away from being a success story. These perspectives are what guide him in this work with his clients. Chase is married to his wife Michelle, and they have one daughter, Elena. He and his wife are active in their church, and you can find them at Comic Cons together having fun and dressing up from time to time.  Chase enjoys all things Star Trek, as well as camping, woodburning, and doing landscape photography for self-care. Chase’s tagline is this: “Words have meaning, and meaning matters.”
