Ross Tatum, MD

Originally from Denton, Texas, Dr. Tatum received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Baylor University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.  He did his psychiatry training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and is board certified both in adult and in child/adolescent psychiatry.  Dr. Tatum has been in private practice in Fort Worth since 1995.  He has provided psychiatric care and evaluations in hospital settings, a women’s federal prison, county jails, in children’s homes, and for foster care agencies.  He has served as medical director for a day treatment program for children and adolescents and for a men’s residential chemical dependency program.  Ross has also travelled  extensively overseas providing supportive care for members of Christian mission organizations.  Dr. Tatum has a particular interest in the integration of faith and mental health.
