Shannon Fox, RN, MSW

A native Tennessean, Shannon earned a BS in Sociology from Tennessee Technological University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. A few years later, she rounded out her education in nursing school at Columbia State, where she earned her RN license.

Shannon began her journey in healthcare and behavioral healthcare by working within a wide spectrum of mental illnesses as a case manager. Upon receiving her Master’s degree, she moved over to be a crises counselor on the Mobile Crises team that serves the greater Nashville area. Through obtaining her nursing license, Shannon moved on to work as a psychiatric RN. This move also allowed the opportunity to work not only with mental illness, but also with co-occurring disorders.

After a lot of prayer and ready for a new adventure, Shannon and her family recently moved to TX, where she accepted the Director of Nursing position at Clearfork Academy.

Shannon absolutely loves spending time with her husband, amazing kiddos and their two very spoiled dogs. When she can catch some downtime to recharge her batteries, she is usually found in comfy clothes and reading a good book or wrapped in a blanket watching a movie.
