Missy Distel

Missy has worked in the field of behavioral healthcare since March 2013. She states, “I’m grateful to represent Clearfork Academy and be afforded the opportunity to play a small role in bettering the lives of boys who are struggling.” Missy’s passion lies in building relationships and professional collaboration, with the ultimate goal of helping people.

Prior to 2013, Missy worked in advertising media planning, internet search engine research, and sports marketing. Growing up in a family affected by alcoholism, she had an early understanding about the value of education and awareness regarding substance use and mental health issues. Combining her education, experience and desire to lessen the stigma that surrounds these issues, Missy began her career in behavioral health.

Connecting and being of service is why Missy co-founded Wellness Association of Flower Mound, sits on the board of Winning The Fight and serves as President of Young Men’s Service League – Integrity Chapter. In her free time, Missy enjoys rooting for her alma mater Texas A&M University, reading, volunteering, staying active and spending quality time with her husband, two teenage sons & chocolate labrador retriever.
