At Clearfork Academy, we're specialists in supporting the mental health needs of teens and young adults. Our teenage years are a special and unique period of our lives, full of change and development - some of which are positive, but sadly, for some, a lot of which can be negative.
It can be a time when family and peer pressure, together with pressure from school and social media use, culminate and lead to mental health concerns such as substance abuse, mental health disorders, bipolar disorder, and eating disorders, as well as co-occurring disorders. These can affect teens' physical and mental health and require them to seek professional help and treatment programs.
Our programs are dedicated to 13 - 17-year-old teenagers who are struggling with substance abuse and corresponding physical and mental health issues. We combine evidence-based methodologies with a value-centered approach, helping teenagers to heal in their minds, bodies, and hearts. We appreciate the role that Christ and his teachings play in transformative recovery, laying Christian values at the foundation of our program.
Our residential treatment centers offer a safe and non-judgmental environment for teenagers attending our programs, with a treatment team of professional staff providing full support. We understand the importance of a strong family system in healing and recovery, providing a dedicated team to address these relationships with family therapy.
Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
1 Thessalonians 2:8
We understand that financial costs can be a concern when it comes to rehab - we would never want this to prevent your child from receiving the treatment they deserve.
If your teenager can benefit from our medical and spiritual philosophy, we'll do what we can for them to access our care.
At Clearfork, we're committed to enabling all young people to access the expert support they deserve. We accept a wide range of insurance plans, working with you to determine your coverage and handling the paperwork on your behalf.
Every teenager is different. While our standard program length is 13 weeks, this may vary according to the needs of each individual and the level of care required. Young people may move through levels of care, for example, by beginning in residential treatment and transitioning to outpatient.
Young people can bring certain personal items listed on this page. To ensure each young person benefits fully from their treatment experience, we may approve or deny certain items on an individual basis.
Clearfork offers Christ-centered programs that draw on Christian values and teachings to transform young people's futures. That said, we welcome teenagers of all faiths and backgrounds to our center and promote an inclusive atmosphere where every young person feels accepted, welcomed, and loved.
A typical day during teen residential treatment involves at least one therapy session, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, adventure therapy, or group therapy. There are also individual and team activities where young people can practice skills they have learned. Between sessions, young people can relax in our calm and well-equipped facilities.
Many teenagers who complete a treatment program continue to maintain abstinence. While others may relapse, this does not mean treatment has been unsuccessful - it simply means that certain skills need further practice or other issues need to be addressed. Importantly, for most people, recovery from addiction is a lifelong journey.
Unlike other teen treatment centers, we see our work as more than just a medical or social profession. For us, our treatment team sees supporting young people to overcome addiction as a calling.
We're spiritually committed to every young person's recovery journey and the transformative experience that comes with it. If we can assist your teen with their addiction, mental health issues, or behavioral health issues, then please call us today to find out more information.
