At Clearfork Academy, we recognize the struggle of accepting that you have a problem with mental health or substances and need to seek treatment. Many of our staff have recovered from addiction themselves and found healing through intensive outpatient treatment approaches. Addiction is a powerful force, but we believe that through our intensive outpatient program, you can recover.
Outpatient treatment programs like ours at Clearfork Academy particularly help young people with certain mood disorders or who are in the early stages of substance abuse or addiction. If teenagers fall into substance abuse when they are young, there is an increased risk that they will suffer from addiction or mental health issues later in life. It is essential to consider a teen outpatient program as early as possible.
Our teen intensive outpatient treatment program allows you to be flexible with your treatment process. You may attend school or have commitments that prevent you from spending much time in treatment. From art therapy to group therapy, we will design a treatment program to meet your needs.
We understand the teen years are a particularly difficult time in your life. Our mission is to treat teens with substance abuse and addiction so that they can develop healthy coping skills to live a happy and healthy life in whichever way they choose.
Our intensive outpatient programs aim not to disrupt your life too much. You will have an assessment with a medical professional to understand your needs and your life so that we can fit our outpatient services and mental health care around academic, family, or extracurricular activities. We offer fully individualized treatment programs that take into account any mental health condition you may also have. We even offer the option for you to attend therapy sessions virtually.
In the Clearfork Academy teen intensive outpatient program, you will receive medical monitoring of your withdrawal symptoms, medication, and any mental health concerns so that you can remain as safe and comfortable as possible, even from your own home.
It is important to recognize the early signs of substance abuse and addiction so that your teenager can get treatment as soon as possible. People tend to hide signs, but some to look out for include:
Intensive outpatient programs are where you live at home outside of treatment hours. This is different from inpatient treatment programs, where you stay at the treatment center 24/7 for the duration of your treatment.
An intensive outpatient program may suit those who are in the early stages of addiction and have a strong support network with friends and family who are not using substances.
The best way to motivate a teen to start intensive outpatient therapy is by engaging in honest conversations with them. If your teenage child understands that they can trust you and that you genuinely want to understand their issues, they will be more open to teen outpatient treatment.
We believe that money should never be a barrier to treatment. If your teenage child is well suited to our intensive outpatient programs, we will do everything we can to make sure that they can join us. We also accept a wide range of insurance plans.
We make sure that our teen outpatient treatment fits around school life. Our outpatient treatment hours are Wednesday to Friday, 5 pm to 8 pm, and we also offer treatments virtually.
The length of any intensive outpatient program is tailored to each individual's needs, so it could last from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the person. Adolescent mental health is one of our priorities, so we will never rush teen outpatient treatment.
